Hi xD

The latest version of KMyMoney has "fiscal year" setting in configuration GUI.
But I have to use Version 0.8.8 for a particular reason. :-/
We need to set the fiscal year. It is not available in GUI and is not listed in ~/.kde/share/config/kmymoney2rc
Can it be added to the config file manually so the 0.8.8 recognizes this setting :?

Thanks! :)

Can you try 0.8.9?
The fiscal year setting was added prior to that release, but I'm not sure it was backported to the 0.8 branch.
There were a big number of changes between 0.8.x and 0.9.x

The hardy version can be upgraded with the Intrepid version 9.0 which provides the option to set the beginning of the fiscal year.
