I just started using Kmymoney and like it i switched from money to it. but i am having a small problem. I have a checking and a savings account, and a house loan and a line of credit. now normal math would be you take the checking account and savings add them together and subtract from the total between the house loan and line of credit and that give you what you (owe/ or have) depending on the numbers but kmymoney isnt doing that. it is taking the total of checking-savings-and-line of credit off of the house loan and thats the total.
c=checking s=savings h=house payment l=line of credit X=total balance right way (c+s)-(h+l)=X what it is doing (c+s+l)-h=X if picture is needed i can get one. |

What's the type of the line of credit account?
You probably defined it as an asset account, which wouldn't be correct.

Do you see a negative balance on the line of credit account? In that case, you probably entered expenses as income.

I can assure it is causing it. It should appear as positive, not negative.
