KMyMoney can't find my GPG key. I used Kgpg to make a key pair. KMyMoney says it can't find a valid key for my user-id in my keyring and that I need to import a valid key for my user-id.
PS 2:43 pm — I can't encrypt files either, so I guess this thread belongs elsewhere besides the KMyMoney subforum. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+sour ... bug/390311 Okay, I just did it with the Konsole instead, and it worked.

Do you still have the problem with KMyMoney or not?
Also, it would help knowing which version of KMyMoney you are running

Oops, sorry I said it worked for KMyMail when I meant KMyMoney. No, I'm not still having a problem. Thanks, my version is 3.98.1. The next step may actually be figuring out how to open the file since I didn't document it last time. It wouldn't open a second ago, but I haven't restarted. Last time involved getting gnupg to automatically start with KDE if I'm not mistaken. I don't see a way to mark this thread solved.

You should have gpg-agent running and qt-pinentry installed.
