First let me say I am a noob, but I have tried to find the solution to my problem in the handbook and searching this forum. I use ver 3.5.10

I just us kmy to track bills and deposits out of one account. I set it all up the way the handbook said and everything works and is straight forward but one thing. Its the home page "balance after" column. When I pay a bill or record a deposit from my transactions to my ledger, every thing is spot on. Every thing on the home page "balance after" column is correct on the current transactions, but for the future transaction it goes incredibly wonky. The "balance after" column for future transactions can be off +/_ hundreds of dollars. What have I done wrong? Thanks in advanced for any help.

First of all, the Balance after is an estimation.
Second, depending on the version of KMyMoney, there was a bug on it.
Which version are you using?

Thanks for the reply. I hope that is just all, because I love the program. I was just going to let it run for a month and see if it fixes itself (or what I did wrong).

I am running the latest Ububtu ,lucid links, and the KMYMoney version is 1.0.4 (using KDE 3.5.10)
