I have set up accounts and trying to forecast. I can not get the net worth forecast graph to show income and expenses.

In Section 10, the charts part of the reports. Select the Net Worth Forecast Graph.

Configure, Row/Column set the rows option to assets and liabilities and you get all zeros. It does not seem to fill in the scheduled transactions.

Any thoughts anyone?

My net worth forecast graph looks like a staircase function. There are two jumps per month and they look alike. Configure Row/Columns was already set to Assets&Liability. There is only one curve, "Total". Do you have sufficient pas data available for a forecast?

I have no past data, I am trying to do a forward forecast using the scheduled transactions.

The Assets and Liability works but the income and expenses does not.

It seems very strange since I can not understand why you can not forecast using scheduled transactions.

That's because the income and expenses is not implemented.

You can have a similar feature through budgets. Create a budget, right click on it, hit Suggest. That will give it to you.

Otherwise, go to Forecast, and the budget forecast will have that data.

I've added a fix to the SVN version to be able to forecast income and expenses for the current year. It's a tricky thing to do it, so it's not as flexible as the forecast of assets and liabilities.
