Problem with numeral as first character in payee

I'm using KDE 4.5.2 with KMyMoney 3.98.1 on aptosid.

I've just needed to enter a payee "5 Forks . . .". As soon as I hit the "5", I get a dialog popping up asking if I want to enter it as a new payee/receiver.

I did manage to enter it by pasting the whole payee string in from a text file. If I have the numeral within the text of a payee however, I get the selection dropdown and no popup.

Can someone confirm this. Just my system?

Thanks

I do not get the pop-up while typing -- only after moving to another input field or entering the current operation. I get the dropdown if the first character I type already appears somewhere (anywhere) in the payee list. In case of a new payee, if I confirm I want to add the new payee, the cursor is again in the payee field. I use KMM 1.0.5.

I noticed there is a bug filed that seems to match your experience: bug 237194.
