Data field in ledger

I have to register some old transactions but the date field turns red and doesn't accept the value. (e.g. 26 feb 2007)
What is the rule for that?

the transaction date cannot be prior to the opening date of the involved accounts.

Ok, I changed the account's date so I have done my job.
