Hi friends,
I installed Kmymoney on Ubuntu 9.04 with Gnome. In order to change date from yyyy/mm/dd to dd/mm/yyyy and numbers from . to , I searched to get systemsettings. I got the package from synaptic but when I open it by sudo systemsettings it doesn't work. A blank window opens and I cannot choose preferencies. How can I do to transform settings of kde to get date and numers in my favorite format? Thanks and gook Halloween night |

Ask in the UbuntuForums what you have to do to make systemsettings work. Ubuntu tampers so much with the packages, that the solutions are specific to Ubuntu, and they can tell you what to do to solve it.
What I can say, is that you have to set the locale settings in Systemsettings, because that's what KMyMoney uses (KDE locale settings, and not Gnome's)

Try running system settings without sudo, first. It should not be run that way - it will prompt you for a password when it one is needed. I don't know off the top of my head if there is something KDE-related that is not installed in Ubuntu's Gnome environment that you would need.
