I'm using KMyMoney 4.5 on MacOSX installed via Macports.

On the ledger view, when I try to change the date by clicking on the edit field on a new or on an old transaction, KMyMoney just segfault.

I think that it try to load something (a tooltip ?) but it failed due to missing package in my installation.

Please let me know if you need anything to track down the issue.

PS : the date edit field work nice in other places in the app, like in Account edditing dialog or in Report editing dialog. In fact it only segfault in the ledger view. Can someone look at the code and tell me what's different here ?

I have the same issue when trying to modify the date.

We usually refer to the 'tip version' as SVN HEAD. This post just for clarification.

Sorry, I'm a third mercurial, a third svn and another third cvs guy. But hg definitely is my favorite due to its distributed nature.
That is why this happened.

This happens only on OS X, right?

I haven't tested on an other systems, but I believe that it would have been noticed sooner if it crashed like that on Linux.

This issue is very annoying because you have to choose the date using the calendar. If the focus goes to the place where the date is displayed (using Tab or by clicking on it), the application hang for a while and then segfault. This occur only on the ledger page, all other date input works great.

I'm volunteer to do any test you wish in order to fix this annoying issue. KMyMoney4 is the best software ever, and I wouldn't stop using it.

Having a backtrace of the error would help us find a possible cause for this error.
