I'm running OSx and Windows 7 via Boot Camp..

After several attempts I've managed to download and setup KmyMoney4 in Windows with the KmyMoney Win .exe installer...
Seems to be working fine now after a few false starts....

I have one problem that concerns the main Registry Ledger Layout tho..

The No. and Date columns are very narrow, the Details column is very W--I--D--E making the Payment, Deposit and Balance columns very narrow..

Is there any way to "re-adjust" or reduce the width of the Details column so I have more room to widen the other columns ??

I can't see anywhere in KMM4 where I can do it easily.....

The width of the columns in the ledger can't be adjusted manually. They should resize according to their contents leaving anything extra to the details column. Do you have trouble viewing the data in any of the columns?

I can just about view the narrow columns.....

Every column (except the Details column) is so narrow that the information contained in them is "squeezed" very tightly touching both sides of the column edge.

The Details column is so wide it looks unsightly and an unnecessary waste of space on my 27" monitor..

This was fixed in version 4.5.1 (there is a bit of spacing between the column lines and the content see this bug) which will be available in the next KDE on Windows release in the following weeks.

I don't know if it's relevant or if the KMM team know about it (they must do, I guess..) but I have just realised something else that happens in the two different versions as follows :-

Both of these versions are on my machine..
The KMM Windows version is 3.9 !!! something KDE4
The KMM MacPort version on OSx is 1.0.5 KDE3

The KMM Windows version does NOT adjust the column widths automatically when the overall KMM window width is adjusted. (i.e. the column(s) at the edge of the window are lost when the overall window size is reduced)

In the KMM MacPort version ALL column widths adjust automatically when the overall window size is either reduced or expanded.....

Has this issue been corrected?

I just started using windows version 4.8.3 and the columns do not adjust to their contents, I am unable to see the balance in the ledger after each transaction.
