KmyMoney 4.5.2 under MacPorts....
If, like me you have several Accounts with similar Bank Account names the dropdown Accounts selection field (top left hand corner under "Ledgers") is not wide enough to identify the Account name accurately..
e.g. "First National Bank Current" and "First National Bank Savings" would only show "First Nat" in the dropdown list making it difficult to get the selection correctly selected first time !!!!....

Anyway to E X P A N D the visible width of that dropdown list ??
Maybe pinch a little unwanted space from a rather L O N G "Search" field...

Yep, I observed the same all along.

It appears that it is a Mac related problem as there is plenty of room on the Linux version. Have you tried Settings>Home> and altered the font size - assuming that does not create other problems?

The settings font size only affects the actual Ledger entries and the Header font size.
Nothing I can find adjusts the font size inside the the Accounts Selection Dropdown Box field...

It looks ridiculous as the Dropdown box is miniscule and the Search field (next door) is HUGE....

I've raised this problem of field sizes before, another example is the centrally located Desriptions field which takes up around 80% of the whole Ledger Entry Screen and looks pretty much wasted space on a 27" monitor, believe me !!!

Not guilty "yer onner", although I do have sympathies with the perpetrator............

I read that there is now a successful patch for this problem..
To be incorporated in KMM 4.5.90-svn1225229..................

Being a real Dumbo....... can anyone explain to me how I can implement this on my MacPort version of KMM 4.5.3 with KDE 4.6.1.

I've got a very narrow drop down Accounts Combo Box in the Ledger view and it's driving me nuts..............
