I create account, bank, but I don't know how to even how to create a line of debit or credit.
I am using economize, but I think Kmymoney is better, because of the format of the accounts, active, passive ... I look for informations and I have not found. I click upon the accounts with the right bottom and anything happens. I don't know what to do. I would like to try it, if it is possible, yet Economize is fine. Thanks. |

In case you have created a (e.g. checking) account you need to have categories to record your incomes and expenses. Open the categories view and create them just like you have created the account (right mouse click, new, etc.)
Once you have that, open the ledger view, select the account and press the 'new' button underneath the register. Now enter your transaction (credit or debit). In case you need a new category, you can also create it during transaction entry. Simply type the new name and KMyMoney will ask you if you want to create it. Hope that gets you started. If you have more questions, please feel free to ask here.

Ok, I did it.
The ledger view is in grayscale, and I can not edit it. It is like a page that is not allowed to edit. After I write this topic, I realize a better way to use the eqonomize, that is, just by creating a separated account to credit card. |
