Ledger grid colors

Fri Mar 11, 2011 2:06 am
I have three colors in my my ledger grid. White, yellow and blue. Is there any way to change the grid colors? I'd like to change the blue highlight to something more muted. I see where font colors and background can be changed, but I don't see where the grid colors can be changed, especially the blue highlight color.

You can always change that in system settings I assume that if you want a lighter highlight color you would like to use it everywhere in KDE.

The highlight color is actually taken from the KDE settings, so you'll have to change them there.

Is it possible to change the KDE display settings when running in Windows? Is there a package I can install?

OK, so I found and installed the kde-workspace package, which gave me a System Settings panel, including "Application Appearance." Within that panel, changing the "Style" changes the appearance of borders, icons, etc. in KMyMoney, but changes to "Color" seem to have no effect.

Here's what I want to change:
In Ledger view, the current selected transaction is blue with white type. This doesn't bother me, but when that selected box becomes inactive, for example, after an update, or a save, or when using the edit area below, the background of the selected transaction becomes pale grey, making the white text nearly invisible.

The closest I've gotten is if I change the widget Style to CDE or Motif. With those, the selected transaction becomes black with white type. However, a lot of other things become a lot less appealing. I can live with it, but I'd prefer to just change the one specific setting.

If it helps, I know how to change the kdeglobal file. Anyone know which setting to change?

This is a bug that has been fixed but the problem is that the fix didn't made it into a released version yet. Even if it would have made it packaging on Windows is not the simplest task considering the current state of the KDE on Windows project.
