i installed kmymoney in ubuntu 10.04 lts, created a gpg key , selected it in the kmymoney settings , but every time i try to save a encrypted file i get "Unable to write changes to 'xxxxxx.kmy'". If i try to save the file with no encryption it works just fine.


kmymoney 1.04 from ubuntu 10.04 repositories...

tried also update to 1.5 from clay's ppa and still same problem.

Is your GPG agent running?

how do i check this ?

In a terminal, type:

ps -ef | grep gpg-agent

Also, you should have the qt-pinentry package installed.
