Ledger Drop Down Menu too Narrow and Search Bar too W-I-D-E

I know there is a "fix" out there for this problem but I don't have a clue how to apply it to my KMM.

It's just ridiculous how narrow the Drop Down list is to the point where I can't read or select the correct Account........

Can anyone guide me through the solution...........??

I was one of the original persons raising that "bug report" but I still don't understand how to implement any fixes.... I'm just a simple guy using one of the best Personal Finance packages available..
I'm not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination.................

I've done ALL of the MacPorts updates, latest one being last night, but none of them fix this problem.......

Please contact the maintainer of the macports Marko Käning. I think that he can give you details about what needs to be done to get the fixed version.
