Somehow kmm wo´nt let me close the dialog. Even if I fill in fees etc - with every field filled in there still is the button to complete deactivated. Anyone an idea?

I can reproduce this. It will not accept a zero value if you enter an expense category in the "Fees" field. If there is no fee, make sure that field remains empty.

opening date of account is lots earlier and "buy"-transactions work. So I do not think this is a reason. Leaving the field emty doesn`t work, I tried that first before filling in 0. Funny it does work in your version.

I am using 1.0.5. I have not tried in 4.5.x. Have you tried duplicating and editing an old "Reinvest Dividend" operation, if one exists?

Duplication and edit works, thanks. Nice Workaround. Hope it will help for a fix also.
