1) Are there any procedures to transactions' import from a Calc sheet (OpenOffice3)? :'(
2) I have a lot of transactions and some time I need to change some information in massive mode. Why not to implement a Find and Replace 3) Look at these types of transactions: bank / cars / fuel / Ford bank / cars / fuel / Dodge Bank is the Institute Cars is the Payee Fuel is the Category ... and Ford / Dodge? I think they are subcategories. Is it a bad idea to think about their implementation? Cheers

You can export a Calc sheet to a csv, isn't it? There are python scripts on the internet to transform an csv into a qif file. These qif files can be imported into KMyMoney2. You should just find out what "captions" you need for the csv file ![]() Search in the ledgers view, select multiple transactions and you can change some options for all the transactions at once. It is not complete find/replace functionality, but it stilled helped me a lot! KMyMoney2 has already subcategories. What does these slashes mean? I haven't found it yet (but I'm running a Dutch version). Look at the screenshots where you can find the categories view.
