I might be wrong but I don't think UK banks offer online banking support i.e. direct downloading of data etc. but you should be able to manually download statements and then import them into KMM.

Thanks for that, I managed to download it in Intuit Quicken (QIF) format and import it.
Now what I want to try and do is match transactions up to what I have already set up to go out.
e.g.
Virgin Media £90 every month on 28th, how can I match up previous payments to that?

Matching is a whole new topic!

As this is your first post here I'm guessing you've just started using KMM.

What date did you enter for the opening date of your bank account? There's no point in entering transactions before this date.

Transaction matching will make more sense going forward.

For example if you've created a scheduled transaction for Virgin Media on 28th of each month this will either be entered automatically into the ledger, or by you when prompted, depending on how you set it up.

Then when you import your next QIF statement in a month or so the matching process will run.

Keep it simple at first until you get up to speed. If you haven't already done so download the latest version of the user guide from the KMM website, it goes into a lot more detail.

Download links are on this page:
