Good afternoon,
Linked to the difficulty to update stocks with the Windows 7 version of KMM (which is otherwise working fine...) I got back to re-installing Ubuntu in a VM and then try to install there KMM. Install runs smoothly, but then when I click on the KMM icon on the ubuntu dock, it glows for 3-5 sec, and then nothing... So here are some details : I run Ubuntu 11.10 guest on Windows Seven, using virtualbox v4.1.8. I install KMM 4.6.1 from claydoh repository. All seems fine, but it does not launch (and I don't know where to find an error log). If I install the version 4.5.2 from the official ubuntu repository, this one runs ok. Can anyone help me? or at least tell me where is the error.log that could help? I am using ubuntu only for KMM, so I don't know so much, just the set up of ftab for shared folder and KMM, that all . Thanks again, VdL

If you run "kdebugdialog" then enable all areas, then try to launch KMyMoney in a terminal, is anything relevant output?
Also, try running "kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental"

Looks to me like your missing the package libgmp.

Hello,
Yes, that's what I infered as well. After a check, libgmp10 was installed
but it is the only one. Then , I installed
and
I don't know which one did it, but it worked.... Thanks a lot!! |

It actually was a problem in the libalkimia package, which I had copied from Natty (which uses libgmp3). I missed the gmp version change in Oneiric (which uses libgmp), so I have repaired that, which will fix the problem.
Sorry for taking so long.
