Guess I'll be the first one to write something. :)

I thought the course was a very good introduction to KDE programming. The task was easy, even for a beginner, and the results were pleasing (not just "change the text in this button") and visible to the end user.

The information was sufficient to get started - I found patches from other students very useful - and our mentor frederik answered my questions well.

I'm still waiting for feedback on two patches (one requires a new category to be added to kde-files.org). There were times when I had hoped for faster replies (I wanted to see the changes in trunk as soon as possible ;D). In the future, maybe the patches could be posted on reviewboard to lessen the load on the mentor.

Finally, thanks frederik for holding this course!

Thanks for the feedback. I had hoped to have more time in the second week, so my response time was indeed a bit low. Keeping track of the patches and who is supposed to do what is quite hard in the forum thread. So I'd probably suggest email or reviewboard for patches the next time.
In fact, please send pending patches to me again, that will guarantee that I'll check them in if you don't have an account, or I'll give you feedback and let you commit.
