Since I've spent too much time here whining about slow KDE start times, I'm going to post something entirely different. I am now using Kubuntu 12.04 on my old laptop, and I love it, because it is ridiculously faster than prior versions of KDE 4. I think someone cleaned up the raster graphics engine and made it the default, though I'm not certain... But anyway, thank you. This release puts all the previous ones to shame.

(It does still take 20-30 seconds to start up; but whatever, you can't have everything.)
