next point is the segmentation of the KDE activities! i am already years registered on the German KDE forum, thinking that this initially real German development would be effective propulsed on the German part. but to the new questions, no answer...

While I won't claim that all KDE documentation is perfect it is way better that what you have found. First of all you do not normally find the real documentation for a GUI application in the man pages. Usually the help file will be installed along with the app (but it could depend on your distro). In that case the simplest approach is to start the app, go to the "Help" menu and select "About app-name"; or you could start the KDE Helpcenter and find the manual in there.

In some cases the manual is lagging behind the app; some apps see furious activity on the development front and an up to date manual may not have been ready by the time your distro finalized its packages. But even then there is hope. Very often you will find some help on http://userbase.kde.org and many apps have a very active forum here. If you have any specific questions, just ask.
