Here's my laptop desktop.
I've kinda been tinkering and have made a theme made up of elements from different ones. There are bits of Arezzo and Oxygen at the moment but I'm sure I'll be adding/tweaking it some more. Cheers T p.s Just click it to see it full size. p.p.s m00ser, where did you get that wallpaper? any chance you could pm me with the link?

Here's mine:
My desktop Didn't put it for the sake of beauty (though I think 4.2 offers a very beautiful desktop), but rather for a sense of use. I catalogged all my daily/nightly work in four different areas, and I created an activity set for each. I put the activities widget on a newly-created bar, auto-hiding bar on the top so I can get a quick access to them (btw, ctrl-shift-n and ctlr-shift-p don't work for me..). Each activity has a distinct set of widgets related to it, and I can only help of finding more of them in the official release (a semi-transparent, live websnip widget comes to mind). It also made a lot of sense to use folder view in some of them, I clearly there are different folders I'm focusing on with each activity. Now, if I only had a way to know how much time did I spend in each of these spaces... |

How did you get the glitch free lancelot I'm KDE4.2 and I still have glitches?
Did you made clean install? Anyway here is my screenshot of KDE4.2 with my personal theme Bare Naked (yeah a little more self-promotion isn't bad...)

Hi Primoz. I followed the instructions elsewhere on this forum on removing the plasma cached images from ~/.kde4/cache-hostname and ~/.kde4/cache-hostname/kpc after killing plasma and lancelot I tried it several times with varying success until I did it while running the default theme. (I was using a theme I'd mashed together from several others) I assume it needed the default loaded to then find and use the svg images Ivan created for lancelot. Cheers. T

Hm, are you using a different oxyglass than the one on kde-look.org? At first I just got Lancelot to stick to the previous theme (Clean-blend), and after cleaning the cache it got stuck on the default oxygen look instead. It certainly never got a glassy look...

Hi Kryten2X4B
I modified the oxyglass theme slightly. If you'd like I'll post in the Tutorials and Tips section how I did it. (Before we take this thread too far off topic ) Cheers T

Kubuntu 9.04 with default wallpaper and Plasma theme. I have modified the panel plasmoids and have manually configured the Batman pic, but other than that it is mostly default 9.04
If you look closely, Batman is checking my disk space.
