The FAQ mentions that some compilers fail to properly align Eigen types in certain situations (particularly during parameter passing by value) and it also alludes to C++11 alignas in the future tense. Since that FAQ was written, has an effort been made yet to support C++11 alignas when present, and if so, have the issues been fully resolved in compilers that support it?

as far I know, nobody tried this.
