I just want to know if Eigen supports or is plaining to support objects with more than 2 indices, upper and lower indices and tensors in general.
It should be very nice also that operations such contraction, raising and lowering indices with metrics would be templatized as well.

In this case Eigen would become a very useful support in many other fields of science, such as stress analysis, multilinear algebra and general relativity.

yes, we thought about that, and yes that would be nice to have, but I cannot see it coming soon unless someone shows up and start working on it seriously.
