Old title: How to append columns to DynamicSparseMatrix?

Hi,

is it possible to somehow resize the working space of a dynamic sparse matrix while filling it? My workflow is at follows:

• Create empty dynamic matrix (n * 0) matrixA
• Go through a container of data sets i=1,m
• For each i, check if the dataset is active at all
• if active, add a column to matrixA
• if active, assemble data of the i-th data set into the last column of matrixA

resize() deletes the previous data of the matrix.
Saving the old content of the matrix temporarily (do a conservative resize) is too inefficient.

I am still using 2.0.15

I just found it: resizeAndKeepData. I just read the docs in more detail!
