Commercial licence?

Tue Nov 15, 2011 9:25 am
First and foremost, I *have* read the licencing FAQ and I *do* understand the terms of the LGPL affecting Eigen. I have absolutely no intention on starting a tiresome discussion of the pros and cons of the LGPL!

As it turns out, a client has a pretty rigid set of rules for in-house software. One of these rules states: There must be no LGPL-licenced components!

This means that we cannot sell software components to this client that use Eigen. It's a shame.

Is there a way to purchase (as in, for money) a commercial, non-LGPL version of Eigen, to overcome such unpleasant regulations?

Thanks in advance!

We're continuing this discussion privately, but for the public record, let's be very clear that we don't have either the intention or the ability do engage in commercial licensing.
