Well done with 4.2, great work. My eee 901 loves it, as does my desktop. Two totally different layouts - it shows how flexible the core is.

Congratulation, to the whole KDE community and especially developers/artist that made this great thing possible. And deep gratitude. The 4.2 is a great answer to sceptics and a great support for those who beleive into FOSS case.

I've (sadly) had to abandon KDE because 4.x has, so far, been unusable.
With some trepidation I will load 4.2 and pray that it's half the system that 3.5 is.

There is absolutely nothing stopping you from doing exactly this. I've been using KDE 3.5 ever since the release of the KDE 4 series.
