Been waiting for this moment for like 2 years...
I tried 4.1 when it came out but dismissed it because of the well known graphical issues with former nvidia drivers and i didn't feel like fiddling around...
I tried the Chakra live-cd (4.2 beta) and everything seems fine
So... install time !

Since i am a daily reader of the planet and the dot, i can already say :
KDE and the community just rules.
Keep it up guys, you're **** awesome !

KDE devs (and in fact everyone contributing), you rock! I love this release. It's the best desktop I've ever experienced. And the plasma, akonadi, nepomuk worlds are still to grow and, more importantly, grow together. Exciting!

P.S. Posting took a while, the server is overloaded. A good (and probably valid) excuse if we don't make the 1000. :P

Kde 4 is looking real good. Thanks to everyone involved. I think my Mac and Window buddies are about to break and let me put this on their systems.

My distro (Kubuntu 8.10) has the commonly known odd **** package but nevermind. Mostly working great.
