Awesome. KDE has been my main desktop ever since 4.1 which I though was fantastic. Can't wait t slip in to 4.2! Good work!

I am disappointed with the timing of the release since I had to wait till 9PM just to read the announcement and then go to bed :'(. The connection at home is not that fast and if I opted to download the iso image it would have taken four hours . Anyways, I just downloaded the KDE Four Live CD image and burned it. I will try it during the lunch break and get it installed once I get back home .

I showed the two screencasts to a friend of mine who happens to be a Mac user and he was impressed with the look and feel as well as the configuration options :shade:.

Congrats to all the KDE team. It's a big day for the community and I hope to enjoy the awesomeness XD

I've been using kde svn trunk (self compiled) since before 4.0 so I have been able to see the whole thing evolve from a series of big ideas to a spendid useable desktop !
