@happyUser: You mean Gentoo has KDE 4.2?! Wow! I had considered Gentoo as a "side" distro but I thought it's KDE4 was rather behind (couldn't get 4.0 till 4.1 came out! Arg...). Glad to hear they're getting their act together again.

I have two questions about the KDE Four Live CD, should I keep the KDE4-Factory-Desktop and KDE4-Factory-Extra-Apps repositories?
Also, should I keep the source and debug repositories as enabled?
This is great news since I have GeoForce FX5200 as well :shade: |

I would like a crash after adding another Networks widget to dashboard. The crash happened when I double clicked on the newly added Networks widget. The crash caused the screen to blinks few times and cause the "Add Widget" window to close. The good news is that the crash did not affect any other application even the newly added widget.

I see this thread still goes strong. I finally updated to KDE4.2 And I like it, there are some difference from the RC1 release.
Also on a bit more downward note, my plasma died after upgrade, but that was expected, as there were changes in plasmarc and the way things work. So it was expected and I just deleted the old plasmarc and now I have to rebuild my desktop. (hope this will not happen no more, as I think this was the last step to rock solid plasma) I KDE4.2 is so cool I wonder what the 5.0 bring
