Great job, everybody! This marks the release where I can finally switch from GNOME on all the machines I use. Plus, my school is looking to slash costs and I think I just might introduce them to KDE 4.2. Of course, we need to keep looking forward.
Here's to Amarok 2.2, Koffice 2.0, and thousands of bugs squashed in 4.3!

Congrat's to all involved in bringing us users what has to be the best, most advanced and most flexible desktop experience out there.

4.2 is simply stunning!

My 2 cents to add my congrat message.

With this really great release, KDE becoming more and more multiplatform, and the upcoming new LGPL license for Qt, KDE can experiment a big boost this year.

2009 wil be the year of the KDE!!

Hey folkes!
Congratulation to the KDE-Team for a new era of kde-desktop experience. I'm looking forward to have my KDE-4.2 compiled and hopefully will switch from 3.5.10 to 4.2.0 tonight.

One hint to all the others having download-problems. The following mirror allredy has that stuff up:
