It's a pity that on Kubuntu KDE 4.5.0 ships with a beta version of QT 4.7...
There are some issues with this QT version that are annoying. Anyway what I've found so far, and not sure if it's all KDE related: - Lancelot buttons/windows corruption - KRDC doesn't work properly with rdc on embebed windows. - On Kmail/Korganizer, the Calendar widget (that shows the calendar) is slow... - Dolphin is so far stable, but when big files are selected it seems to hang for a while. Otherwise, great job! |

Finally I can say kudos to devs and everyone else that was behind KDE4.5!
It's even better than I thought.

Any update on this? I read on various websites that PIM will come at the end of the year... |

I haven't asked recently. But I guess it got even more delayed, since they are planning to make PIM 4.4.6 (although KDE SC 4.4.6 will not exist). I don't like predicting stuff, but I guess the final version will be released before the year ends.

There was a blog post recently that said that they are still planning to release it this year, but didn't provide any more details than that.

Excellent work KDE team!
Enjoying the more organised KPackageKit as often that is the first port of call after a clean installation. mandriva0usr0 couldn't have put it any better in terms of the interface.
