Thanks everyone involved for your work! KDE keeps improving at every release thanks to all of you. I can't wait to use it on my Debian machine.

nice release, thanks for your hard work. Blur effect now even works smooth on dualscreen hd5830 ati with open mesa driver.

For me, the major improvement so far is that now I actually find activities useful, because windows can be assigned to them. Combined with stopping/starting activities, this provides for very good workflow! At this point I have activities for school, photo (modified from the template), development. I will likely have activities for specific classes, for geocaching, sailing (so that i can stop resource consuming and net dependant applications (and plasmoids) and by stopping other activities while at sea) etc.

In the future, activities will rock even more with activity-aware applications and services!

So big thanks to all KDE developers for making the coolest desktop and breaking new grounds. You rock! <3
