When you read some pdf paper written in foreign language it would be helpful to quickly check some words you don't know. I think the best way to do it is to copy idea from gTranslate addon from firefox.

I agree. I am using okular to study, reading my pdfs, and I am really enjoying it. But today I am having a lot of work to translate the words that i do not know.

Except that okular is no browser...

You could however add a klipper action for okular that executes
Code: Select all
firefox 'https://translate.google.com/m/translate#auto/en/%s'

which will translate the selection into "en" (english, pick your favorite language code) - this could be made work for all applications (by simply not excluding them)

Why stop at Okular? Having that as a service that the desktop offers would be great :D

It's time to prod some serious buttock! ;)
