I would like to see a "Getting Things Done" implementation in top of akonadi.
It can be included in kontact and import selected e-mails as tasks from akonadi. The calendar-ressources can be used by the tasks. I'm dreaming on an owncloud webinterface and a mobile client too regards Edit: i forgot the URL: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Getting_Things_Done Edit2: in the meanwhile i found Zanshin: http://zanshin.kde.org/ I think it is the desktop solution i wanted. But an owncloud-client would also be nice.

Can you please describe what "an Getting Things Done implementation" means? Users shouldn't have to refer to an external site to understand the idea.

Kolab doesn't affiliate itself with GTD principles but it does support the email-based PIM storage you are talking about.
