When you use gnome 3, unity, kappfinder you can say file name or folder name and you get the search results.

Could it be also possible integrate to the file path bar as auto complete mode.

Examples:

1. You look after the folder grub and don't know that you can find the folder at /boot/grub/ than you write in the path bar grub and with "autocomplete" grub was renamed to /boot/grub/.

2. You are looking for a song and write a part of the song name in the path bar, if there are some matches, you will get the search result like you use the dolphin search, if you get only one match you get the folder preview from the file path.

I'll know we have the dolphin search, but when you use kappfinder, you also could find the application in the debian hierarchy.
