1) In today update I had this package called: "Simple, fast and good looking music player" What is that? How can I know to which application or package it refers to?
On the bottom there is no information available. I think the same pane with tabs about details should be available as in Muon package manager.
2) Additionally I would add a column about which version it replaces. I mean, it would be good to have two columns, one with package version of the new package and second with currently installed package version.
3) It would be great to also have option to block the current - installed - version of package if we don't want to update, so that it will not notify as about this package anymore. I know that this option is in Muon package manager but it would be handy to have it in Muon update manager as well.
4) Another issue is information if the system is up-to-date. I do updates regularly and it always shows this green icon and information that system is up-to-date and updates were checked like 23 hours ago. This is not very accurate. It should say something like: "System was updated 23 hours ago. Please, check if there are new updates available". And only after update process is finished there should be information "Your system is up-to-date." and green icon visible. There is an option that allows to define how often updates should be checked. Maybe it would be reasonable to make it this way: if Muon update manager is launched when the period to the next auto-check has not exceeded it should say that: "System is up-to-date but you can check if there are new updates available." If the period has exceeded it should say: "Your system may not be up-to-date. Check if there are new updates available" In second case user is notified about updates by notification helper in tray, anyway, but this description seems to me more accurate and appropriate. If the period for checking updates has exceeded and new updates are available perhaps the icon should be red.
