KIO for Chrome(OS)

Mon Jun 18, 2012 1:13 pm
This might not be directly a KDE brainstorm, but here I go.
Now that chromeOS is going live with an usable product (http://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/devices/chromebox.html), I've been thinking.
How great would it be if I could just plug this to my TV, and install a "dolphin/kio" extension for chrome, so I can just browse the files on my server using fish://user@localserver?

Not sure if is possible, but after looking for a while, I haven't been able to even find an sftp (secure ftp with ssh capabilities) extension for chrome/chromeOS, and is just what I think is missing.
