[Solved]
when you read or select an email, there should be a short-cut or menu-entry to move that mail into that folder, where you moved the last message into. Because usually i work on one project and mails that can be archived all have to be moved into one folder for that project... always the same folder it saves a lot of time, not to have to use the mouse to move that mail

You may select multiple messages using Control or Shift keys. Then you may move them to folder all at once.
If these mails falls into common pattern (title, sender, some string in other header), you may use filters to move them to certain folder when they arrive. Also, you may create filter that will always match (such as: "Sender" contains "@") that moves message to certain folder. Then disable it for incoming mail and assign it to custom keyboard shortcut. You will be able to move selected mail with that keystroke. You can press 'M' (as Move). In new window you may just start typing to filter visible folders. Could you post detailed user case when above workflows are not suitable and which justify addition of yet another way to move messages?
Best regards

thx a lot!
Some others will miss that functionality if they are used to it from thunderbird but for me this works fine. ( i used Ctrl+Q for this, cause i was annoyed of accidently pressing that anyway ) |
