Example situation:
/home/tenchi/Documents/Texts has the following sub folders:
/AAA
/BBB
/CCC

If I enter /CCC, than click on "Up" (or press alt+up) the auto selected folder is /AAA. It should be /CCC like in other file managers (Nautilus),
Scanning a lot of directories is complicated this way.

Also a /.. at the top would make keyboard navigation even faster, just like in total commander...

Just to note two things:
1. Pressing "Back" instead of "Up" automatically selects previous folder, just as you say.
2. It's not only Nautilus. It also works this way in mc (Midnight Commander), Worker and perhaps many others. So, if anyone is willing to say "KDE does not have to mimic GNOME" - it's not a case. It's about complying to de facto standards of file management.

I missed that too, but since we have Alt+Up...

Other than that, I totally support this idea.

I think alt+up is not as usable as the ../ version as, I can use just my right hand to quickly go to the top (../) pressing home, than I only have to press enter. Navigating this way only requires the up, down, home, end and enter buttons, all quickly accessible with the right hand.

Pressing alt+up requires the left hand too. This is way slower and breaks the rhythm. Speed is very important to me :-)
