The idea of the new timeline:/ available (via KIO?) as a system directory is great; but it seems it could use some work to develop it.

What I'd love to have is a timeline:/thisweek (/thismonth is available in Dolphin but doesn't appear to be accessible as a regular directory).

Not only that but have an "expanded" directory view so rather than showing the individual days under the /thisweek it would show all the files (like Digikam setting for albums that shows all images in sub-albums too). I'd use this for quickly locating recently used files and probably add it as a desktop folder.

Kind regards.

Hi pbhj!

You probably mean something similar to the zeitgeist activity journal? If yes, yeah, they have some pretty things done with that. And all of this in a virtual folder that can be viewed by any file browser, looks like a nice idea.

Best regards
Aldi
