Currently, for partitions on external harddrives, the only available option in Dolphin is "Safely remove" which on some systems will detach the device. It would be nice that Dolphin adds an option "Unmount" to this type of partitions which will only unmount the partition without detaching the device. This feature is only available to internal harddrives for now.
