IF YOU'D WRITE A COMMENT INSTEAD OF JUST VOTING DOWN, THAT'D BE GREAT
Hi all! I (like almost everybody here) have a keyboard. And I am a lazy person Therfore I like having everything I have massive use of (such as Konsole, Dolphin & KMail) working with shortcuts. For instance, I have some personnal shortcuts I think everyone does not know it is possible to have:
When taking a closer look to the available global shortcuts, I couldn't find KMail and was like "Oh, too bad I can't do what I want with built-in solutions" at first. So, there should be an entry for each KDE application in global shortcuts. Even if this entry is pretty poor, it should have:
Well, that's it! In brief, just create some new default usefull keyboard shortcuts.

Oh well, If you really want to know I voted down because additional hotkeys are not something that all would want to use and could be just annoying for someone who used different set before. Like me! meta+space launches krunner for me.
And anyway you can export your khotkeys settings to file so -1 from me. |

You can already assign custom hotkeys to give what you want, so cluttering the default global settings seems like a really bad idea.
One thing I would like to see improved is the ability to map *any* key on *any* keyboard, including e.g. keys specific to another OS like Windows 8. Currently, trying to assign a Windows 8 charms key returns the error "The key you just pressed is not supported by Qt". Boo! |
