The "Taskbar Thumbnails" desktop effect does not show the document title when hovering over a grouped set of windows on the task manager panel. This sometimes makes it difficult to select the correct window from the task manager.

Mockup with suggested implementation:

Note that there should be a clear separation between application and the document open within that application. Only the additional document title should be shown e.g. :
- just "Documents" instead of "Documents - Dolphin";
- just "KDE Community Forums" instead of "KDE Community Forums - Mozilla Firefox";
- just "Yearly Report" instead of "Yearly Report - LibreOffice Writer".
etc.

The latter in each case adds redundant information and hence clutter. Remarkably, both Windows 7 and the 3rd party "Smooth Tasks" Plasma widget continue to make the mistake of adding this cluttering redundant information.

(I have no idea how things are implemented under the hood, but if there is no separate document name field then you could just strip the application name from the window title (if present) to get the document name)
