Right now there are three views in Dolphin which are Icon View, Compact View, and Detailed View, non of which has a real emphasis on meta-data like provided by Nepomuk. Of course, rating, tags, comments, etc. can be shown in the current available views. In my opinion, this always leads to a visual mess. Moreover, at least for comments and long tag lists there is never enough space to display them properly. The space requirement is horizontal, not vertical. This brought to me the idea of a new view, which I will call Pages View.

Pages View - The idea
Every file and its meta-data is presented on a single page. A page is a visually distinguishable area. Since horizontal space is required, the scroll direction from one file to the next is vertical.

For user interaction, the presented items (tags, comment, etc.) can be made editable. The edit mode must not interfere with browsing files. How to implement editing in detail can be best discussed if this view got accepted by Dolphin devs.
