It would be really nice if there was an option that configures the behaviour of the scrollbar when it is clicked. Actually I would like it to jump to the exact position, that I clicked instead of scrolling one page in the corresponding direction.

I know, that this behaviour is possible with clicking with the middle-button, but I hate using the middle-button (because it always tends to scroll...) and would like the left or the right mousebutton to behave this way.
I think this would be especially useful with the new kate-minimap, but would be more intuitive in general.

Clicking with middle mouse button does exactly what you want.

As I wrote:
I know that, but I hate using the middle-button because to me it is a wheel and not a button. And when I try clicking with it it always does what a wheel has to do: it rolls/scrolls...

Thats why I'd really appreciate it to have this option available for one of the "normal" mouse buttons.
