Suggestion for KDE'guys:
1 - Panels "More settings" could have a option to choose if this panel have to be kept in this screen or have to jump to the principal when the sreen is disable. It's good for two type of users. This satisfies those who want the panel where and the way you have customized. And those who want one or more panels follow them, always jumping to the main screen 2 - It was amazing if we could link a desktop ( with customized widgets and panels ) with a each video output and/or screen resolution. So we could fit our needs of widget to a screen size. Don't make sense use the same widget that we use on the HDMI big screen of our work and the 14 inch laptop screen. We do differents things in this differents screens, evens when we use them together. My problem: At office I use two screens. The screen of my my laptop and a big monitor. I've customized each screen with differents widgets, suitable with the kind of work I do on each of the screens. The Widget stay aways where I put it (Screen 1 or 2). The problem is the painels. When I unplug the monitor or disable a screen, the I created goes to the principal screen (different from the Widgets, that stay where I put) The KDE gives the possibility to have two different screens, with different widgets and even different Wallpapers. It's amazing !! But it doesn't work with panels...only with panels !! For me is amazing could work on my office with two displays with differents panels and Widgets, and when unplug my laptop from the monitor, have a widgets and panels on my screen that are suitable for the work i will do It's better have on a big screen panels with widgets, shortcuts etc that fit on it (like mutimidia programs, digikan, shortcuts to image or video folders etc.) On small screens like laptop the user could have a desktop in a different way. What do you think ? |
