Hi All,
I would like to have a configurable middle toolbar between the two panels, in which setting up a set of commands of normal use, such as copy, paste, delete, favourites, trash, and so on. A good example could be "Free Commander" (for Windows). I opened a bug here: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323997 for which I have already received two answers (not too positive) It has been already explained to me (by Frank Reininghaus) that Dolphin is a single windows file manager, but it is also true that in "Preference/Start" I can also choose to open/launch Dolphin with two windows, that I use when passing files from a folder to another. The reason of my request is that, for working reasons, I very often need to pass files from a directory to another, for which I find very useful and time-saving (in Windows) a small program called "Free Commander" that allows me to work in that way. It should be interesting, when in "splitted" mode, to have the same possibility in Dolphin. Ciao Valter

why is it that the popup that's initiated when you drag from one split window to the other does not suffice
