First of all, hallo everyone!
I frequently use the the auto alignment feature of KWin to place two windows next to each other in a horizontal fashion. What I believe would be a cool feature is when the user can resize these windows in one go without first having to resize e.g. the left window and then the right window afterwards. The feature could be activated by double-clicking or holding the mouse a seconds on the shared border of these windows. For illustration, see this link: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/443/3fad.png/ Best regards, Björn |

Yes, this idea has been posted so many times in various places that I don't know why an implementation is not in KDE by default by now!
Here was my suggested way of only allowing this to happen when you want it to happen though an "attach" mechanism: http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=83&t=110707 Here is the main thread on this idea: http://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=83&t=96530 There is also a script which implements this (though does it always which might not be ideal): http://kde-look.org/content/show.php/St ... ent=157382 |

Hi Paulm,
oh I see that this idea is not new. Then I searched for the wrong keywords on the forum. I hope this will be implemented. Thanks for pointing me to the threads. Yours, Björn |
